Coop Power Grid Upgraded to Survive the 3 A.M. Rooster Surge

Facilities & Waterworks Division
INFRASTRUCTURE UPGRADE — GRID HARDENING For months, the facility's power grid experienced an unexplained surge at precisely 3:00 A.M. Lights dimmed. Cameras flickered. The heat lamps in Sector 2 briefly achieved sentience, allegedly. THE SURGE Diagnostics traced the event to a coordinated pre-dawn vocalization by the resident rooster population, followed by every entity in the facility waking up at once to see what the fuss was. Demand spiked. The old grid could not cope. THE UPGRADE We have installed redundant power distribution and a buffer capacity sized specifically for the 3 A.M. event. The grid now absorbs the surge without so much as a flicker. VERIFICATION Last night's surge arrived on schedule. The lights held steady. Somewhere in the dark, a rooster registered its disappointment. CONTAINMENT NOTE: Grid stability restored. The rooster remains unavailable for comment and, per its lawyer, denies all involvement.
